Pretty Wendy is a tabby, but it's hard to tell you exactly what kind, as she's both grey and brown. She's a gentle girla little bashful, but she genuinely likes people. Our vet tech describes her as "a sweetheart" and "a really good cat" .We estimate she was born in late December of 2010. Wendy has a food intolerance. We're not quite certain of its exact nature, but we have tried her on a few diets, and she seems to do best on a raw diet. If you're unfamiliar with a raw diet for cats, it's just what it sounds like: uncooked food. It's kept frozen and must be defrosted/warmed up before the cat consumes it. This food cannot be left out for hours on end as can kibble. While it is more expensive than supermarket brand kibble/canned food, it isn't astronomically pricey. Some people believe that a raw diet is optimal for cats, even those without intolerances, and raw food has become much more widely available. We think Wendy has a lot of potential to become an ideal companion cat. She can be shy when you meet her, but she just needs someone willing to take a chance with her.
